FALSIDE GORSE
Wild Foraged Gorse, Ylang Ylang & Cedarwood | Wildflower Collection
Gorse has been flowering on the hills above Hawick for as long as anyone can remember. Stubborn, bright, completely unbothered by the Scottish weather, it blooms when nothing else will and smells, surprisingly, of warm coconut and almonds when you get close enough.
We pick ours wild from Falside, just up the road from Sage Cottage.
Those foraged flowers are at the heart of this bar, grounded by cedarwood and warmed by ylang ylang a combination that feels both rooted and quietly luxurious. Kaolin clay cleanses gently, and each bar is finished with a scattering of dried cornflowers by hand.
There's something in it that feels unmistakably Scottish. Not in an obvious way just in the way that a walk on the hill does, or the particular light on a clear February morning.
Suited to all skin types. Best used slowly.
Scent: warm floral, faintly exotic with an earthy, woody base Approx. 130g | Plastic-free packaging
